10/5/2012 · I would like to share some pictures of my hone- o -drive project, which I try to connect it directly behind of the C4 tranny and shortened driveshaft connected to 8 differential. My driveshaft length is now 35. I had no clearance problem. It’s not finished but try to find best way how to fix it to the body to avoid vibration problems.

You would need to have a shorter driveshaft made and a simple crossmember. You operate it by simply lifting off the throttle and pulling a lever. 3/5/2009 · Re: Hone- O -Drive Overdrives. It’s a planetary overdrive, like a Gear Vendors unit. They were used in Baldwin Motion cars, which would have been nice with a big block and 4 series gears.
